1. Introduction

RC Card Lookup ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Vehicle registration number that you type in the app to request your RC card.
  • WhatsApp contact details (your phone number, display name) that WhatsApp shares with our helpdesk when you message us.
  • On-device history of your recent lookups stored locally in your browser/app using localStorage. This never leaves your device.

We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN, passwords, OTPs, location, contacts, photos, or payment card details inside the app.

3. How we use your information

  • To fetch your Vehicle RC from public RTO/Parivahan sources.
  • To deliver the RC document to you on WhatsApp.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your queries.
  • To comply with applicable laws and prevent misuse.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. Your vehicle number is used solely to retrieve your RC on your behalf. WhatsApp communication is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

5. Payments

The flat service fee of ₹100 per RC is collected on WhatsApp through UPI or other means agreed there. The app itself does not process or store any payment information.

6. Data retention

Chat history remains in your WhatsApp per WhatsApp's retention settings. Recent-lookup history stored on your device can be cleared any time from your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

You may request deletion of your WhatsApp conversation history with our helpdesk by writing to us. On-device data can be cleared by you at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy
